Congressman Erwin Tulfo pulled even further in the 2025 Tangere Senate Survey; Ben Tulfo, Ping Lacson, and Camille Villar gained the most in the post Certificate of Candidacy Filling Survey of Tangere

ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo voter preference increased by 4.5% in the latest 2025 Senate Survey of Tangere conducted immediately after the filling of the certificate of candidacy. Cong. Erwin Tulfo, achieved high voter preference across all categories – areas, regions, age groups, and socio-economic classes.


Significant gains for Ben Tulfo, Ping Lacson, and Camille Villar

  • Media Executive Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo, Former Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson, and Congresswoman Camille Villar all saw significant increase in their voter preferences this month.
    o Voters from Metro Manila, Mindanao, and Northern Luzon were the primary drivers of increase for the 6.42% increase of Media Executive Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo. Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo improved his ranking from 6th to 2nd place.
    o The 8.42% Increase in the voter preference of former Senator Lacson were driven by CALABARZON and by male voters aged 36 years old and up. The former senator improved his ranking from 14th place to 7th place.
    o The 8.46% increase in the voter preference of Cong. Villar were driven by voters from Metro Manila, and for voters aged 26 to 35 years old. The Las Pinas representative improved her ranking from 26th place to 20th place.
    Top 12 for October 2024
  • Closely behind in 3rd and 4th place are Former Senator Tito Sotto with a 46.50% voter preference and Senator Pia Cayetano with a 46.08% voter preference, respectively.
  • Senator Bong Go ranked 5th with a 45.50% voter preference, driven by respondents from Mindanao.
  • Former Senator Manny Pacquiao ranked 6th with a 42.21% voter preference with voters from Visayas and Mindanao as primary drivers.
  • Makati Mayor Abby Binay ranked 8th with a 36.17% voter preference and Former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos ranked 9th with a 33.42% voter preference with younger voters as primary drivers.
  • SAGIP Representative Rodante Marcoleta ranked 10th with a 31.88% voter preference with voters from Mindanao, particularly the Davao Region as main driver.
  • A mixed group of three Incumbent Senators, one Former Senator, and two new-comers are statistically tied at 11-12th place
    o Senator Lito Lapid with a 31.67% voter preference and ranked 11th;
    Senator Francis Tolentino with a 31.46% voter preference and ranked 12th; o Senator Bong Revilla with a 31.25% voter preference and ranked 13th;
    o Former Senator Bam Aquino with a 31.21% voter preference and ranked 14th;
  • Social Media Personality Doctor Willie Ong with a 31.17% voter preference and ranked 15th; and
  • Comedian Willie Revillame with a 31.00% voter preference and ranked 16th.
  • Though close, Senator Bato Dela Rosa (30.67% voter preference), Senator Imee Marcos (29.63% voter preference), and Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan (28.29% voter preference) are all currently
    ranked outside the top 12 —————————

  • The survey, conducted last October 10-12, 2024, was administered via a mobile-based respondent application with a sample size of 2,400 participants (+/- 1.96% Margin of Error at a 95% Confidence Level) using a Stratified Random Sampling method (Quota Based Sampling). The proportion was spread throughout the Philippines with 12 percent from NCR, 23 percent from Northern Luzon, 22 percent from Southern Luzon, 20 percent from Visayas, and 23 percent from Mindanao.
