SMDC Light Mall officially kicked off the holidays with its first Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, themed “Light Up the Season.” The event brought together residents, tenants, and guests for a night of music, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth of a Filipino Christmas.

The celebration reached its peak when the lights came alive on SMDC Light Mall’s Urban Pop Christmas Tree, a 30-foot centerpiece that reimagines the season through bold colors, neon accents, and street-inspired art. The design brought youthful energy that perfectly matched the city’s vibrant pulse.

Adding to the magic, Jose Mari Chan performed his iconic holiday songs, filling the mall with joy and nostalgia. His presence captured what Christmas is truly about—togetherness, gratitude, and simple moments that matter.

The event marks a milestone for SMDC, as it is the first Christmas Tree Lighting in its mall portfolio. More holiday attractions will follow, including Santa Meet-and-Greets, Christmas promos, and weekend performances celebrating community and family.

Since opening in 2015, SMDC Light Mall has stood as a landmark of convenience and accessibility along EDSA, directly linked to MRT Boni Station. Beyond retail and entertainment, it continues to serve as a community hub where good times, good vibes, and the good life come together.
