SMDC Wind Residences kicked off its first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, filling Tagaytay’s vibrant community with the joyful spirit of the holidays.
With the theme “Christmas Comes Alive at Wind,” the event gathered homeowners, guests, and visitors for an evening of lights, music, and cheer.
The centerpiece, “Christmas Under the Stars,” stood tall at the heart of the celebration, symbolizing hope, unity, and joy. Red ribbons twined around the tree to represent love, connection, and shared dreams.

Lorenzo Calingasan, Division Head, Senior Asst VP – SMDC Retail Projects, said the celebration reflects the company’s commitment to building communities that foster togetherness and happiness.
“Christmas is always a special time for families. At SMDC, we believe it is best celebrated where memories are made, right at home. Through events like this, we bring our residents and guests closer and remind everyone of the Good Life that we stand for,” he said.
Guests enjoyed the Grand Christmas Spectacle, a family-friendly show by the same talented group that performs the grand Christmas parades in SM Malls across South Luzon. The night also featured live entertainment and holiday activities that brought extra warmth and excitement to the event.

SMDC Wind has evolved into more than just a residential haven. With The Strip at Wind offering open-air dining and leisure spots, it has become a favorite destination for locals and tourists looking to unwind, celebrate, and experience the Good Life.
This year’s Christmas celebration at SMDC Wind brought the brand’s promise to life, creating spaces where families come together, mark milestones, and make memories that last long after the festivities fade.
