We went Christmas shopping in SM Megamall with my family last week and we happened to pass by Innovations Design Pod furniture shop at the 4th floor.
There were a number of furniture stores at that floor in SM Megamall but somehow, the Design Pod store front was able to capture our family’s attention.
No Ordinary Sofa
We went inside the furniture store and saw a lot of sofa set ups with beautiful designs complete with accents to complement the homey look and feel. Only after the sales personnel explained that I discovered that these were no ordinary sofas, they are sofabeds!
Barry, the sales personnel, gave us a demo and we were amazed how the sofas transformed into a wonderful sofabed!
It was there that I discovered that Innovation Home was founded in 1971 in Denmark led by Danish architect Per Weiss. Their main products are sofa beds which is best for maximising space in condominiums and small living rooms.
At the Design Pod, I loved the designs of the Odin and Splitback Frej sofabeds. I also discovered that the sofabeds come equipped with either of the four innovative mechanisms namely: Click, Lift, Flip, and Slide.
