PETNET, the country’s foremost urgent transaction center formally unveiled its new retail brand.
The financial services company, which has been around for 17 years as the largest agent network of Western Union in the Philippines, officially announced to its business partners and key stakeholders its new brand name – PERA HUB.
Aboitiz Equity Ventures acquired majority ownership of PETNET in the middle of 2015. “Last year saw a lot of changes and development for our company. Aboitiz is a supportive and strong majority owner and partner, which provided a lot of opportunities for PETNET to grow further. Re-branding is another part of that journey,” said Lorenzo T. Ocampo, president of PETNET, Inc.
According to Ocampo, the rationale for the re-brand is to better communicate the nature of the company’s services to better serve its growing market.
“For 17 years PETNET opened its doors to people from all walks of life, today, the PERA HUB brand, signifies our competitive edge of being a one-stop shop for our customers’ financial service requirements and strengthens our commitment to our corporate values of integrity, teamwork, innovation, responsibility and friendliness,” added Ocampo.
PERA HUB’s re-branding rollout in all of its 2,100 locations started during the first quarter of this year.
PETNET will continue to be the company’s legal name with PERA HUB as the new retail brand name.
PERA HUB provides services such as PERA LOAN, PERA PALIT, PERA TRAVEL, PERA PAY, PERA PROTECT and PERA LOAD.
