The Winter Woodland lights up at Century Park Hotel

Century Park Hotel (CPH) officially opens the yuletide through the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony with this year’s theme, The Winter Woodland.VIPs to in-house and walk-in guests witnessed a spectacular show as Christmas comes early at one of Manila’s renowned hotels. Tan family, headed by owner and magnate Dr. Lucio Tan, led the ceremonial lighting of the 36-ft Christmas tree standing tall at the Atrium Lounge. In addition to the winter-themed decorations in the grand lobby, guests also enjoyed the interactive photobooths with life-sized moving polar bear props and smaller versions of the tree. The Winter Woodland can be experienced until January.

“We have outdone ourselves this year by launching a very interesting Christmas theme. The Winter Woodland is a very inviting place where families and friends will surely be entertained while feeling right at home,” shared CPH GM Anthony Tan.

Minstrels Rhythm of Hope, an outstanding local children’s choir from Paco, Manila who have done performances locally and abroad, kept the atmosphere alive by singing Christmas hymns.

 

Miss Earth 2017 delegates currently staying at CPH joined in the much-awaited tradition as well. Most of them took to Instagram to express their delight for the event.

The ladies of Miss Earth 2017 had the chance to accompany Dr. Lucio Tan in the countdown to the lighting of the tree.

Perfect for Photo Ops. The Miss Earth Warriors did not waste time and were the first to take selfies by the tree.
