East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) has launched an elevated EastWest Priority Bankingexperience, introducing an enhanced wealth and lifestyle proposition designed to make banking easier and more rewarding for high-net-worth clients.
Held at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, the event gathered over 250 EastWest Priority Banking clients for “The Symphony of Insights and Opportunities,” an evening that blended market thought leadership, client conversations, and cultural excellence through performances by the Manila Symphony Orchestra and National Artist Ryan Cayabyab with his children Krina and Toma Cayabyab.
The event also highlighted EastWest Priority’s partnership with Visa, whose debit and credit products form a core part of the offering.
“EastWest Priority Banking is being enhanced with a clearer purpose: to give our clients a more personal, more insightful, and more complete banking relationship, one where we work alongside them every step of the way,” said Jerry G. Ngo, EastWest CEO. “For Priority Banking clients, ease means having the right advice, access, and insight when it matters most.”

Visa Partnership: Elevating Lifestyle and Global Access
Enhancing the curated lifestyle dimension of Priority Banking is EastWest’s partnership with Visa, which extends EastWest’s ecosystem of partners to deliver lifestyle privileges and seamless experiences for clients.

“Today’s affluent consumers are increasingly driven by experiences, deeper enrichment, and intentional luxury, rather than traditional status-led consumption. With Visa Infinite, Visa brings curated experiences and premium benefits in a single, intelligent payment ecosystem, enabling the affluent to move, choose, and live with confidence through seamless and secure payment experiences,” said Jeffrey Navarro, Country Manager for Visa Philippines.
To mark the milestone, EastWest is introducing exclusive offers for EastWest Priority Banking clients. Responding to Evolving Wealth Conversations
For Rafael S. Algarra Jr., EastWest SEVP and Head of Financial Markets and Wealth Management, the launch reflects a broader shift in how clients think about wealth. “Wealth conversations today are broader than before. They are no longer limited to asking, ‘Where should I invest?’” said Algarra. “They now include family, mobility, succession, protection, and long-term purpose—conversations we want to continue with our clients through EastWest Priority Banking.”
The evening featured expert perspectives from BlackRock on global markets, EastWest on the Philippine outlook, Henley & Partners on education and global mobility opportunities, and Acumen on generational succession—bringing together conversations that matter to clients thinking beyond wealth accumulation toward family, mobility, continuity, and legacy.
With the launch of an elevated EastWest Priority Banking experience, EastWest is shaping a Priority experience that is more personal in service, more relevant in advice, more rewarding in experience, and more connected to the lives clients are building—with EastWest as a committed partner in every stage of their wealth journey.
