DTI drives export momentum, opens major trade exposition for over 300 Filipino businesses

More than 300 exhibitors are showcasing world-class Filipino products and services that are successfully making their mark in the global market at the Philippine Exporters’ Trade Exposition & Forum 2026, where businesses can connect with prospective buyers, partners, and export support providers to forge commercial partnerships.

The exposition comes amid the country’s strong export performance. Preliminary Philippine Statistics Authority data showed merchandise exports reached USD 9.87 billion in September 2026, up 35.6% from USD 7.28 billion a year earlier. This marked the highest monthly export value recorded since the PSA began tracking international trade in 1991.

From January to September 2026, total exports climbed 17.2% to USD 73.95 billion, up from USD 63.08 billion during the same period in 2025.
“Our record export performance shows what Philippine industries can deliver. Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., this administration is fully committed to building on these gains by helping more Filipino enterprises enter new markets, expand their global reach, and advance their growth. Every new order can fuel production, provide jobs, and bring income to more Filipino communities,” said Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina A. Roque.

To translate this historic momentum into tangible commercial success, the DTI is actively connecting enterprises with international buyers through targeted export promotion, business- matching activities, outbound trade missions, and the global network of Philippine Trade and Investment Centers (PTICs).

The exposition features an Export Enablers Clinic where existing and aspiring exporters can consult government agencies, certification bodies and private sector institutions on regulatory requirements, product standards, financing, logistics and market intelligence.
The exposition also showcases key export sectors, including food and beverage, personal care and cosmetics, garments, textiles, and footwears, gifts, decors, and housewares, fashion accessories and jewelries, and bags. Most products are highlighted under the Coconut Philippines and Halal Philippines pavilions—alongside emerging export favorites such as ube, calamansi, mangoes, and bamboo.

The Philippine Exporters’ Trade Exposition & Forum 2026 is open to the public until November 8, at the 2nd Floor, Function Rooms 3–5, SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Admission is free, and no registration is required for entry
